Joseph M. "Joe" Podgorney

PODGORNEY---Joseph M. “Joe,” 71, Westmont, formerly of Johnstown, passed away on February 2, 2025, in Johnstown, son of Frederick and Thelma (Custer) Podgorney. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by daughter, Holly Michael and husband, Kevin, Conemaugh; granddaughter, Kassidy Terchanik and husband, Matthew, Jackson Twp., and great-grandson, Beau Terchanik. He was a 1971 graduate Conemaugh Valley High School where he was president of the National Honor Society. He worked in the steel industry and was an avid participant in martial arts. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by Baker Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh.
