Kathleen "Sis" Vogel

Vogel – Kathleen “Sis”, 76, of Daisytown Borough, Johnstown, PA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 24th, 1949, in Johnstown, Daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Donnelley) Heiser. Preceded in death by her loving parents; Son, Joey (2007) Vogel; Son-in-law, Todd (2024) Euen.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph Vogel; daughter, Amy Beth Euen; daughter-in-law, Dawn Miller; grandchildren, Gabrielle “Gabby” (Chris) Claney, Emily Euen, Erik Euen, Rachael (Brandon) Miller, Treigh (Kellie) and Ian (Sarah) Slifko; sisters, Roxanne (Robert) Petrovich, Susan (Wayne) Cummings; brother, David (Paulette) Heiser; and several nieces and nephews.

Sis fought a very difficult battle with pneumonia and lung cancer from smoking cigarettes, starting at a young age and continuing for forty plus years.

Sis was a 1967 graduate of Ferndale Area High school. She was a member of Saint Gregory and Barnabas Church for over 55 years. Sis raised her family and lived in Daisytown for 55 years as well.

Family and Friends will be received at 9:30 AM prior to Funeral Mass starting at 10 A.M on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at Saint Benedict’s Catholic Church (2310 Bedford Street Johnstown, PA 15904) Officiated by Father David Peles. Committal will be at Oak Cemetery, Daisytown, following Funeral mass. At the request of Sis, there will be no viewing and/ or visitation prior to mass.
