Laurie Bimeal

Bimeal – Laurie, 63, of Conemaugh, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on June 1st, 1962, in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Shirley (Frampton) Faight. Preceded in death by her father; sister, Kelli Jo Statler.

She is survived by her loving mother, Shirley; brother, Thomas R. (Lynette) Faight Jr.; sister, Shelly Hritz; Goddaughter, Victoria Hritz; loving pets, Bear, Bo, and Yogi; close friend, Len Bimeal; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Laurie was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She worked over 20 years, cooking for many students at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family down at the Conemaugh Independence Fire Club and loved to help set up events there, especially the steelers games. Laurie’s fur babies were her pride and joy and loved to spend time with them. She was a fan of the outdoors visiting and camping out at Glendale and Raystown lake.
