Ralph W. Havener Jr.

Havener Jr. – Ralph, 75, of Vinco, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born on January 31st, 1950, in Johnstown, son of Ralph Sr. and Rebecca (Cooper) Havener. Preceded in death by his loving parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara (Helsel) Havener; son, Steve (Kalena) Havener; grandchild, Tyler; brother, Terry Havener; brothers in-law, Jim (Jane) Spisak and Denny Spisak; niece, Jill and nephew, Jimmy.

Ralph was a 1967 graduate of East Conemaugh High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Garcia during the Vietnam War. His favorite thing about serving in the U.S. Navy was visiting 26 countries. Ralph retired from MetLife after 25 years.

He was an avid golfer, golfing all over the area and enjoying the many golfing trips down to Myrtle Beach. He loved to watch all sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Tennessee Titans, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. In his younger days, He enjoyed playing softball. He belonged to many leagues for horseshoes, shooting pool, and bowling. He was a member of the Parkhill Legion. Ralph also enjoyed mornings at the Big Stone with Marie and friends.

Family and Friends will be received from 2-7 P.M. on Sunday, September 7th, 2025 and a Funeral Service will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, September 8th, 2025, at the Baker Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services (229-231 First Street, Conemaugh). Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery following the service with military rites presented by Conemaugh Valley Marine Corp. League Detachment 287.
