Shirley J. Munoz (Reighard) entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 21st , 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on June 26th,1935, in Johnstown, PA, to Raymond R. Reighard and Ellen Mae Rhoades.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, David L. Munoz Sr.; daughter, Donna Luckenbaugh and infant daughter, Carmen Loretta Munoz; sons – in – laws, Gregory D. Wooley and Steve Luckenbaugh; her parents; brothers, William, Raymond, Joseph, Lewis, Bernie Paul Reighard; sisters, Lillian Seeley, Katherine Rodkey, Mary Rager, and Ellen Gerber.
Shirley is survived by sisters, Faye Romesburg, Marie Goodall, Patricia McCoy; sons, David L. Munoz (Robin) and Wayne D. Munoz (Amy); daughters , Bonnie Wooley, Christina Mattern (David); grandchildren, David Urban (Marta), Maria Hunt (Jeremy), Carmen Ayers (Dennis), Joseph Munoz (Diana), Brianna Wooley (Shuna), Christopher Wooley, Scott Wooley (Erin), Pheobe Sanna, Morgan Luckenbaugh, Steven Housseal, and Rebecca Bailey; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great – great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed her life crocheting, playing pinochle, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley departed this life surrounded by her loving family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
Our mother devoted herself to her family, creating a home filled with laughter, support, and compassion. She taught us the importance of love, perseverance, generosity, values that will continue to guide us every day. Her memory will live on in our hearts and in the lives of all she inspired.
We are grateful for the precious moments we shared and the lessons she imparted, and we will honor her memory by carrying her spirits with us always.
The family gives great thanks to Shirley’s care givers, Donna Perez and Jennifer Lynn Noel for everything that they did for her.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, April 27th , 2026, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM then Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Baker Funeral Chapel and Cremation, 231 First Street Johnstown, PA 15909, in East Conemaugh with Pastor Zac Yonko officiating. Inurnment will be private to the family’s discretion.
In lieu of flowers family is asking for donations be sent to one of Shirley’s favorite charities, Humane Society of Cambria County, St. Jude, or Disabled American Veterans.
