Virginia Edyth Gilbert

Gilbert – Virginia Edyth, 83, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on Monday September 22nd, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 26th, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, Daughter of Morris and Millimento (Matlack) Gilbert. Preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving daughter, April Bell; Son-in-law, Richard Carney; Son, Michael Ostrofsky; Heather “Partner” Holloran; several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Virginia loved her family and her pets very much. Her and April were partners in crime, always getting into trouble.

Ginny has met and shared her heart with so many people along our life journey. From the bank people to the grocery store to the hospitals, nurses, doctors and neighbors have all left love in her heart of you.
